DuoDuo Kidz Academy 多多学堂
Educare After-School Programme (安亲班) · Ages 4–12

At DuoDuo, children gradually learn to be more independent, more proactive and more responsible.

Many children grow up with parents reminding and helping at every step, and naturally become dependent. Our Educare programme is a safe, caring after-school environment where children finish homework with understanding — and learn to manage themselves.

Why DuoDuo Educare is different from a typical 安亲班

Most after-school centres see their job as: watch homework, check homework, give answers, make sure it's done.

But if a child only copies answers and waits to be told, the homework may be finished — yet the child hasn't learned.

DuoDuo focuses on the abilities children truly need: self-responsibility, self-learning, independent thinking and problem solving.

How a DuoDuo Educare day works

01

Guided homework, never copied answers

Teachers check every piece of homework and help with what the child doesn't understand — by asking questions and guiding, not by giving the answer.

02

Daily 1-to-1 trilingual lesson

Every Educare child attends a personalised Chinese, BM and English lesson, because most homework problems are actually foundation problems.

03

Exam revision & reinforcement

During school exam periods we arrange targeted revision and practice to consolidate what was taught in school.

04

Regular parent feedback

Teachers update parents on homework completion, progress, attitude and areas to strengthen. If homework isn't finished, we tell you why the same day.

Kai Xuan can now recognise about 120 Chinese words. Before, he had no concept of learning — he'd read but not remember, and drift off. Now he stops to think, and his focus has improved a lot. I was worried he couldn't keep up. Thank you teachers for your patience!

Congratulations Leia — she passed her test and completed the 70-word Chinese flashcard level. Next is the 103-word story level. Thank you for the good news and half a year of teaching — we can see she has really improved a lot.

He completed the BM suku kata KV+KV test and can now read words like koci, debu, kepada, dahaga — and write the ejaan when the teacher says it, without memorising. His vocabulary has improved so much and his BM foundation is really strong now; he reads whatever he sees.

Questions parents ask most

Do teachers check the homework?

Yes. Teachers check that school homework is completed and help the child understand anything they got wrong — through guiding questions rather than simply marking answers.

Do you guarantee homework is finished every day?

We do our very best to help every child finish before going home. Because homework load, learning speed and focus differ from child to child, we don't promise 100% completion. If homework isn't finished, the teacher informs the parent proactively and explains why.

Can I sign up for homework guidance only, without the 1-to-1 trilingual lessons?

DuoDuo Educare is a complete system that combines homework guidance with 1-to-1 trilingual lessons, so we don't offer homework-only care. Homework guidance solves today's problem; foundation building solves tomorrow's.

My child is shy or has poor focus. Will they cope?

Yes. Teachers give shy children time to settle in and build confidence through encouragement. For focus, we use staged learning, appropriate practice amounts and individual guidance.

Give your child the most precious gift: the ability to learn on their own.
